1. Introduction
Welcome to Fredrick AI LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website “fredrick.ai”, purchase our courses, or use our services. Your continued use of our website will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect and process the following types of information about you:
- Personal Identification Information: Name, email address, phone number, and billing information.
- Professional Information: Licenses, certifications, and other credentials relevant to your profession.
- Course Participation Information: Records of courses you purchase and complete, including quiz, simulation, and assignment results.
- Usage Data: Information about how you access and use our website, including your IP address, browser type, messaging actions, and browsing actions.
- Anonymized Data: Data derived from your interactions and participation in our services, anonymized to remove any personally identifiable information, used for improving our services through machine learning.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- To Provide and Manage Our Services: Processing your transactions, managing your courses, and maintaining your account.
- To Communicate with You: Sending you updates, notifications, and promotional materials related to our services.
- To Improve Our Services: Analyzing usage data and user content, anonymized where appropriate, to enhance our website and services, and to train machine learning models and other algorithms.
- For Compliance and Protection: Ensuring compliance with our terms and applicable laws, and protecting the rights, property, and safety of our users and our company.
4. Sharing Your Information
We may share your information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analysis, and marketing assistance.
- With Enterprise Team Managers: If you connect your account to an enterprise team, all of your conversations and simulation chat history will be visible to that team's managers. These managers are not necessarily affiliated with Fredrick.ai. If you do not want a team's managers to be able to review your historical conversations, you will need to email Fredrick.ai support to be removed from the team. At such time, you will not have access to simulations through the enterprise product. Please note that this also covers usage of the product in the classroom setting: professors will act as team managers, and can see the conversations of students who are part of the enterprise team.
- For Legal Requirements: If required by law, we may disclose your information to comply with legal processes or to protect our rights and safety.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
